PROCEDURE
• (YOUR COMPANY NAME). is the pioneer of home textile
industries in Bangladesh. Z&Z Fabrics is equipped
with its own power plant, water supply,
machinery shop to finally one of the largest ETP of the
country. Despite of being a textile
industry which one of the most waste producing industries, Z&Z fabrics
maintains its environmental awareness letting no hazardous
chemicals or waste to be discharged to outside.
Every process and almost every operation within a textile dyeing and finishing plant
has an environmental aspect that
should be considered and for which
the environmental performance can potentially be improved.
• The country has law and regulation pertaining to water pollution. The waste water (effluent)
discharge from processing and printing and other units of the factory treat
as per the legal requirement applicable
in the country. The company has obtained
valid permit (Environmental Clearance Certificate)
from the authority for discharging waste water (effluent) produced in
processing printing and other units of the factory and discharge the water after treating
it in the ETP within the acceptable limit. Also the company keep the data (incoming and outgoing at ETP) of waste water (effluent) by testing
the sample in each three hours and submit the test report
to the authority four times a year. For this, the company has set a testing laboratory only for ETP where all the process parameter can be tested.

Initial Environment Impact Assessment
• CR seeks the updates
from the DOE or from different buyers related to environmental requirement for whom (YOUR
COMPANY NAME). is working.
• CR ensures the yearly testing
of drinking water and compares
the results against
the DOE &
WHO
standard.
• Where required, CR identifies the mitigation measures including use
of PPE.
• CR ensures the yearly testing of stack emission; ambient air & noise quality to compare the results against
the DOE standards and submit to the DOE.
Mitigation Measures

DOE, mitigation measures are

to local vendors who use it as a material for re-cycling.

• The workers of cutting use dust masks in order to prevent the inhalation
of fabric fluff generated
from the fabric.
